ParentNote provides a free AI-assisted tool that generates school communication messages for parents and guardians. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind.

You agree to use ParentNote only for its intended purpose — generating legitimate school communication messages. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
• Attempt to circumvent, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-generate content from the Service
• Represent AI-generated content as human-written in contexts that require disclosure

4. AI-Generated Content

ParentNote uses AI to generate messages. The Service is designed to produce helpful, appropriate content; however, we cannot guarantee that every generated message will be perfectly suited to your specific circumstances. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and sending any message generated through our Service.

We are not liable for any consequences arising from messages sent based on content generated by ParentNote.

5. Intellectual Property

The ParentNote website, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by ParentNote. The content of messages you generate is yours — we make no ownership claim over the messages produced on your behalf.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

ParentNote is provided without any warranties, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated messages will achieve any particular result with your school or teacher.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParentNote shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

ParentNote integrates with Anthropic's Claude AI API and Google AdSense. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

8. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
