Why We Built This
Every parent knows the feeling: you need to email your child's teacher, but you're not sure how formal to be, what to include, or how to phrase it without sounding dismissive or over-explaining. So you stare at a blank email for five minutes, then write something you're not quite happy with.
ParentNote solves this problem. It uses AI to generate contextually appropriate, well-written notes based on a few simple details you provide. What ParentNote Generates
Currently, ParentNote supports eight types of school messages:
Absence notes — for planned or unexpected absences. Sick day emails — when your child is unwell and won't attend. Early pickup requests — for appointments and family commitments. Late arrival explanations — when you'll be dropping off after the start of school. Field trip permission notes — with all the key details teachers need. Technology
ParentNote uses the Claude AI API by Anthropic to generate messages. All generation happens on demand — no messages are stored, logged, or associated with any user identity. The tool works in any modern browser on any device.
